Working for a Prosperous Community
The more local people work together, the more local people buy from, and sell to, each other; the more prosperous South Normanton and Pinxton can become with everyone enjoying a share of the pie. Sometimes though, achieving this needs both encouragement and funds to bring about the changes required.
SNaP Enterprise is working with other interested parties and partners to initiate new projects, plans and developments that will continue the regeneration of the place in which we both work and live. Currently these initiatives include:
- Establishing a network of inter-trading local businesses sharing ideas, skills and opportunities
- Providing input into the SNaP masterplan exercise
- Encouraging inward investment from both business and the public sector
- Boosting the profile of SN High Street and getting local people to use it more
- Finding ways of developing South Normanton market
- Creating the South Normanton community website
- Supporting the development of the Hub - joint services centre
